As a result, they shape the goals we seek, the plans we make, the way we act, and what counts as a good or bad outcome of our actions…Because language activates frames, new language is required for new frames. Thinking differently requires speaking differently.
Kind of interesting the consideration the way your language is can influence the frames you adopte for thinking and, why not, designing. Different language leads to different frames and, indirectly, to different solutions. It’s quite usual for designers to get stuck with a problem.
La difficoltà principale di uno ’stuck designer’ è proprio quella di ricontestualizzare il problema per vedere soluzioni che, anche se dietro l’angolo, sono in quel momento invisibili.
